Our headquarters in Nova Milanese is home to a highly qualified staff of over 200 employees, who produce
more than 4 million units each year for the domestic and international markets.

Our Production Process

Every project is managed directly by our engineering department, which works closely with the client throughout
stages of product development and provides the extensive expertise we have built up over more than 50 years.

Timeliness of response to different customer needs

Rolled steel tubes, and forged rings of high quality are the basis for a finished product that meets our customers' standards. From 100Cr6 to 18NiCrMo5, from 42CrMo4 to high-strength stainless steel in salt spray, we offer multiple configurations to optimise the conditions of use.

The latest investments have led to the construction of an massive vertical steel warehouse, the creation of a new turning department with a battery of multi-spindle lathes, an island of CNC single-spindle lathes and a robot cell dedicated to the machining of specific products.

It is one of the key stages in the production cycle; it is carried out in-house by Carbotempra, a CPM-owned company equipped with automated lines and specific latest-generation high-performance furnaces with a low environmental impact dedicated exclusively to bearings. This allows us optimal time management

Grinding is the fundamental step that ensures the required precision of the bearing. It is performed in a modern department equipped with machinery designed specifically for the production of bearing rings

When the application requires high performance in terms of microgeometric surface roughness, lapping of the raceways is carried out. This delicate processing step, takes place inside the Nova Milanese plant in a dedicated lapping department.

Upon completion of all production stages, CPM special bearings are assembled on both manual and automatic lines by devoting special care. The assembled bearings are prepared for the final stage of testing and conformity to which each individual product is subjected before packaging and shipment.
